Why I’ve been away…

I’ve neglected the blog but for a good reason. During the summer I published my first book “Still Learning to Love,” a romance suspense novel where girl meets boy on her summer vacation, boy is committed to someone else and girl is committed to her past. She is also being blamed for the murder of her also deceased husband’s mistress. Yeah, the fact is her husband died and she’s all alone.

As many authors will tell you, when a reader tells you they loved your book, that they couldn’t put it down, it had so many twists and turns, you feel it’s undeserved attention. You may ask yourself: “Did I write that book?”

Well, yeah! I did write that book! and I so enjoyed doing it. I love my readers, and I love that they loved the story I wrote. I’m so thankful to all of them for buying the book.

Today I encounter a dilemma. Many more characters are in my head talking to each other and asking when it is I will release them from their bondage. Well, that’s all good and well, a few copies of my book have sold (thank you again, truly), but lamentably my writing is not paying the bills, yet. So, I’m back to my blog and trying to figure this internet out with this website.

Thanks for coming by, and click on the image of the book if you’d like to order your copy. It’s available in ebook or paperback. (Note: You can also order at Apple ebooks, Books a Million, Barnes & Noble, Bookshop.com, and I’m sure at many other different outlets).

COMING SOON: As writers say, WIP or Work in progress: “Accounting for the Mob”: A love triangle between the mob, the FBI, and a gangster’s accountant who is juggling between motherhood, marriage, an affair, and the IRS to stay out of jail.
